In S. Tiago de Riba-Ul, the SLM Group makes aluminium die-cast products.
State-of-the-art techniques for die-casting machines and a high degree of automation guarantee high-quality casting that can be easily reproduced. In addition, we are able to work with various processes to improve cast parts, from melting techniques to squeeze pins and vacuum assistance.
Throughout the entire process, state-of-the-art CNC measuring and X-ray machines, operator control and the analysis of 3D X-ray CT scanning guarantee consistent high-quality products. |
The manufacturing site for the machining and assembling of light metal components is located in S. Tiago de Riba-Ul.
The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility boosts automated CNC machines, part-specific special purpose machines, washing systems, pressurised testing facilities, a laboratory for analysing residual dirt and assembling machines. Light metal castings for both in-house and external customers are manufactured at this facility. Currently standard parts are already being assembled there. Following the requirements of our customers, we aim for expanding our capacity for order-related assembling. |
